How long have you been modeling? About a year seriously, but I had my first ever automotive modelling gig maybe two years ago.
How did you first start out? What was your first gig? First gig ever was with Taylor (@t.j.dphotography_promohire), Andrew (@5.opony), Maddie (@maddiee_kristine), and Karli, I’d never posed next to a car (or with anything else for that matter) ever and I had zero outfits and had to borrow some from Karli haha. She also did my hair I’m pretty sure, I didn’t even know how to do my own makeup properly! But Taylor was looking for models on Facebook and a friend of mine tagged me in the post. Can’t imagine where I’d be if I didn’t take the chance on that first shoot.
What is your ultimate dream car? Ultimate ultimate would have to be a DMC-12 Delorean. Or first gen pop-ups Honda NSX. Would be extremely happy with either.
Favorite food/place to eat? I mean… I don’t want to be boring and say maccas hahah so I’ll say anything Japanese! I frequent sushi trains and Japanese restaurants, possibly a little too much!
Current song on repeat? Coméntale – Ozuna, and Mi Cama (Remix) – Karol G
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? I’d go back to Florence, my absolute favourite city in the world. Just to do my morning runs up the cobblestone roads and listen to the Assassins Creed soundtracks again, that’s one of my absolute favourite travel memories.
If you could have one ‘super power,’ what would it be and why? Breathe underwater. I’ve always loved water, always felt very at home in it. I’d love to be able to go into the ocean or a waterfall and just lie on the bottom and stare at the sky for hours, as I can only do that for a few seconds at this stage haha. I find it to be ridiculously therapeutic, so I’d like to be able to do that for longer.
If you were stuck on an island and could only bring one thing, what would it be? Charcoal for purifying water. I’ve been down the Primitive Technology videos rabbit hole for many years now, I reckon I could get what I needed so long as I had drinkable water.
Most memorable thing a fan has ever done for you? Can’t say I’ve had many experiences that really stand out, no ones ever done anything ridiculous or over the top. Just meeting new people that follow me or that I follow is memorable enough, it’s always heartwarming when someone you meet says they’ve been following you and are a fan of your work.
Hidden/special talents? I do aerial silks and aerial hoop. I used to coach aerials a few years back, and just recently performed a silks routine as my talent for the Miss Scuba International 2018 pageant and took home best talent which I’m super proud of!
Five things you can’t live without? In no particular order: my car, my partner James, my cats, my tarantulas, and cheeky maccas runs.
How would you describe your personal style? Where do you pull your inspiration from? I’d describe my automotive style as mainly import, and my portrait work as glamour or super moody. I love pulling inspiration from absolutely any women that put themselves next to cars and love trying new styles, but I adore the 90’s-early 2000’s sex spec era of Hot 4’s-esque models and cars.
What do you look for in a guy? Communication, respect, trust, and give-and-take/compromise. Communication is so important to me, as I’ve had enough relationships where it was the main problem and the reason they inevitably ended. Respect and trust are also huge, you should never feel the need to invade your partners privacy with things like going through their phone or filtering their messages. If you feel the need to do that, you’re probably with the wrong person, or you need to work on your own insecurities. And compromise, I see a lot of very one sided relationships nowadays, both sides should be putting in just as much effort.
Craziest/weirdest thing a guy has ever done to get your attention? No ones ever really done anything weird, I feel so boring haha! I don’t have any funny stories about dating because I barely ever put myself in a position to date. My current partner was the first person I’ve ever let take me out to a fancy dinner date outside of being in a relationship with the person already!
Three words that best describe you? Passionate, stubborn, reliable.
Future projects? I have a few in mind for this year, I’d very much like to start live-streaming some of my scale model car kit building on twitch, and will hopefully be starting up a small YouTube vlog/wrapping channel alongside my work at East Coast Signs & Wraps.
What was your most memorable Car Show experience? Coming second in Miss HIN 2018 of course!! Definitely was a huge milestone and achievement and I’ll always remember it as my first ever car show title.
Final thoughts/Shout outs? I honestly cannot thank Hot Import Nights Australia and Jess for allowing me to compete and looking after me so well during the competition! I had so many dumb questions and Jess answered every single one of them without hesitation, thankyou girl!
